CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

This position also requires top-notch verbal and written communication skills and phone etiquette.​

  • Our CSR will assist in providing pricing, maintaining strong communication lines with both our distributors and customers, and assisting the sales representative in servicing the sale.  Additional responsibilities will include: order entry, communicating product specifications, identifying alternative products, negotiating freight rates, set up logistics contracts, book inbound and outbound freight, plus quoting, billing, credit and claims.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 year experience as a customer service representative
  • High school diploma required
  • Strong verbal English communication skills
  • Must pass background check and have clean work history

  • Able to reliably maintain a 5 day work schedule

Production Supervisors

For a multi-shift operation to supervise, plan, and coordinate furnace operations and packaging operations on assigned shifts to maintain production schedules and quality and cost standards and to maximize efficiency and take action to minimize downtime and work schedule interruptions.

Job Duties:

  • Ensure quality of work, efficient material and work flow, proper use and care of equipment and machines, and proper application of production methods.
  • Organize and assign work to utilize employees’ knowledge, skills, and abilities to the best advantage to expedite work schedules and obtain efficient work performance.
  • Maintain work flow by monitoring steps of the process and main close observation over operations, providing guidance to employees concerning proper zinc oxide production.
  • Implement change as required for continuous improvement of operational methods, production processes, or equipment which improve quality and efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintain adequate supply of raw materials, production supplies, and tools to support continuous operations.
  • Maintain related production throughput records and provide production information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
  • Analyze equipment or machine problems, quality problems, and production delays, expediting repairs and/or corrective actions to minimize downtime and work schedule interruption.
  • Ensure efficient operation of equipment by coordinating equipment repair with the Maintenance Department; evaluate new equipment and techniques as required.
  • Select and train employees in furnace and packaging operations and processes, including safety awareness.
  • Evaluate work performance and counsel and coach employees to maintain efficient work performance with quality outcomes.
  • Initiate and foster a spirit of cooperation within and between direct reports and other departments.
  • Maintain conformance with Company policies, work rules, and regulations by coaching employees and/or initiating disciplinary actions as required.
  • Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain communication with other production shifts and with other departments to promote efficient operations.

Desired Education, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor Degree in Manufacturing, Business, or closely related Field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in leading, managing, and developing high performing production teams

Industrial Maintenance Mechanics

For a multi-shift operation to ensure that plant mechanical equipment and machinery is maintained and functioning at optimal level to meet productivity and quality production goals.

Job Duties:

  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
  • Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
  • Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
  • Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
  • Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
  • Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
  • Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
  • Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Desired Education, Skills, and Abilities

  • Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing, or closely related Field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance in a heavy manufacturing industry, including welding, troubleshooting, and
  • Decision making –ability to use sound judgment in analyzing information to determine the most appropriate action.
  • Problem Solving – Analyzes problems by gathering and organizing all relevant information. Identifies cause and effect relationships. Comes up with appropriate solutions.
